Sketchy

I like this look. Click on it... much better.

STOP!

I took this during "Tom's run" in 2009. I like the way the flash made the sign look artificial, we camped not far from where I took this. Good thing the locals like tourists more than stop signs.

Vegas Baby!

I took this standing in the bathtub of our hotel room. Being a bathroom window it barely opened, privacy I suppose. With no way to set up a tripod, I tried to hold as still as possible. I was a little tuned so my patience was extended slightly.
I doubled my money on the roulette table that night, putting it all on red.

Downtown

Mandy and I were at the airport, headed..... somewhere. It's been a while. I shot this between the levels of a parking garage. Phoenix of course.

Front View

Wow, do I like the way this looks. I will probably print this and hang it. It was shot in OKC while waiting for my family to arrive.

Paige AZ

Paige Arizona, what a wonderful place. Jared and I went a couple of years ago and had a ball. You can't believe what wind and water have accomplished here unless you have seen it in person. I could see myself retiring on the shores of Lake Powell.

Green means go.

This light is under a draw bridge here in Annapolis. I like the fact that it is old but yet still very necessary and useful. It must be used like a traffic light on the water. I removed all color from this photo except the cyans and the reds. Why 6 mph? Isn't 5 a much more common speed limit?

Hello again

Wow, I haven't posted in a really long time. A job change and cross-country move could be used as an excuse....but I really just haven't put in the effort. Sorry. I just upgraded to Photoshop 3, thanks to my wonderful wife, so I am trying new things. The nation's capitol provides quite different material than central Arizona, thank god. I felt like I was running out of things to shoot. This post is one last HOORAH to Luke AFB and Phoenix. The sunsets I will miss, although I'm not sure you will.

Vette

Dana, a friend of mine, bought a Corvette, and asked if I could take some photos of it. Of course, why wouldn't I.....He even let me drive it. Wow, those cars are amazing. A ton of horse power packed into a relatively light body. I like this shot the best, although is is probably his least favorite. A sunset in the back of a DOF shot. Love it.
Sorry about the severe gap in posts, lost inspiration for awhile, and got very busy. Not that we are any less busy now......Oh by the way Mandy and I got the orders we were looking for, looks like we will be moving soon. Hellooooo Maryland :)
